1. A booking is accepted on receipt by us of a completed booking form with a deposit of 250 pounds sterling per person and once we have issued a confirmation. The balance of the full holiday cost is due 8 weeks (56 days) prior to your holiday start date (by 18 April for start date of 14 June; by 25 April for start date 21 June). If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the cancellation charges as detailed in paragraph 3 below. When bookings are made less than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, full payment must be made when booking.
2. Prices quoted are in pounds sterling. After your full balance has been received your holiday price is fixed.
3. Cancellations must always be made in writing and the notice period is calculated from the day it is received by us. Any refunds will be made by cheque and in pounds sterling. The following cancellation terms apply:
56 or more days prior to holiday start date: loss of deposit
36–55 days prior to holiday start date: 50% of total holiday cost
28–35 days prior to holiday start date: 75% of total holiday cost

1–27 days prior to holiday start date: 100% of total holiday cost
4. If we need to cancel your holiday, we will offer a full refund.
5. If you need to make alterations to your holiday after your deposit has been received and accepted by Pace of Change, we will do our utmost to help. However, we do charge an administration fee of 20 pounds sterling per person per change.
6. It is a condition of booking that clients have adequate insurance with a reputable insurer to cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, loss or damage of luggage and its contents, and expenses associated with cancellation or curtailment. The client is responsible for any loss or damage to baggage or personal possessions or any consequential loss resulting therefrom. Pace of Change accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to baggage or possessions while with us or our partners. If a client becomes ill, all hospital expenses, doctor’s fees and repatriation costs are the responsibility of the client and Pace of Change shall not be liable to refund the cost of the holiday. Clients must provide with their full payment a policy number and their insurance company name. If

no insurance details are provided, Pace of Change cannot accept final payment and the booking will be considered to have been cancelled by the client, with no refund of the deposit being made.
7. We do our utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable time. If you have any problems please talk to us immediately and we will do our best to resolve them. Any complaints should be notified to us as soon as reasonably possible (in most cases this will be during the break itself, to any member of the Pace of Change team) and in any event notified to our office within 15 days of the end of your holiday.
8. Clients must ensure they have or plan to have adequate fitness to enable them to complete their programme, including the week in Spain. Consult your doctor if in any doubt.
9. The information contained on our website and here is to the best of our knowledge correct, all information is subject to alteration without notice. Pace of Change accepts no liability for any inaccuracy in the information produced.
10. If the actions of you or your party cause damage to accommodation or property of a third party or cause accident on the highway, you agree to indemnify us against any claim (including legal costs) made against |
us by or on behalf of the owners of such accommodation or property or resulting accident.
11. Pace of Change cannot be held responsible for the conditions of the highway, trails or footpaths or for other users of such routes which are included in our activities and at all times you walk or practise yoga at your own risk. We are therefore not responsible for death, injury, or illness of customers on our holidays.
12. The Pace of Change week-long breaks need a minimum of 9 participants to start. If this number is not achieved, you will be notified 4 weeks prior to the start date.
13. The guides on Pace of Change walks are there to show you the direction and not to ensure your safety. It is your responsibility to ensure your own safe being at all times.
14. You must ensure you have adequate experience to cope with changing weather conditions, poor conditions of trails and at all times to make your own decisions on whether to continue on a particular trail or to return due to safety reasons. We accept no responsibility for any subsequent costs involved under these circumstances.
15. Clients are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing at all times. Use of all facilities while in Spain are at clients’ own risk. |
