Just recovering from a not very heavy night drinking and eating with friends! Lovely though it is, I know the booze (cheap cava) is not helping my body to maintain its temperature. Spent the night kicking off the sheets again. I don't drink a lot, just 4 glasses last night. Does anyone have any tips on how to beat this or have I just got to give up the alcohol and stay cool?

Probably got to give it up. I know how much better I was when I cut down on the drink. But actually I think that coffee or tea late in the evening made my nights worse. I couldn't even get to sleep.

Recently I have tried matching every glass of wine with one of water. It seems to make quite a lot of difference, keeping my hydrated and cutting down on the alcohol content. Once you get into the habit, it isn't so bad.
